Things to do in Bawley Point, NSW: Surfing

Bawley Point works nicely as a quiet beach town, but for surfers the appeal is a bit stronger than that. The Bawley Point that the village is named after juts out into the ocean between Cormorant Beach and Bawley Beach. Depending on what the Bawley Point weather is doing, there can be some delicious point breaks to tackle here. When the swell gets above three metres, a break called the Guillotines kicks in. The Guillotines is hugely popular with bodyboarders and surfers who like short, barrelling waves.
