Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm: What animals can I see?

The Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm near Perth allows children to bottle-feed goats, meet kangaroos and emus and talk to a chatty galah.

The Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm on the outskirts of Perth is by no means Australia’s best wildlife park. But neither does it pretend to be. The Cuddly Animal Farm is about getting children close to wildlife, and keeping them occupied for an hour or so. For a greater range of species, plump for the nearby Caversham Wildlife Park in Whiteman Park.

Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm entry price

Entry to the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm in Henley Brook costs $20 for adults and $15 for children. A fair amount is included within that entry price, including an undercover bouncy castle, a children’s playground and a merry-go-round. There are also free barbecue and picnic facilities on site, plus tractor train rides.

Perhaps most of interest, however, is the free bottle and bucket feeding. This gives kids the chance to play farmer and feed the goats and other animals.

Unlike many Australian wildlife parks, there isn’t much emphasis on native Australian animals at this Swan Valley farm. There’s an emphasis on farm animals, although the alpacas, llama and miniature horses veer towards the more experimental sort of creatures you’ll find on a farm.
