Coolum Beach Holiday Park: Why should I stay at this Coolum caravan park?

Coolum Beach Holiday Park: Why should I stay at this Coolum caravan park?

The Coolum Beach Holiday Park on the Sunshine Coast is right next to the beach. This Coolum caravan park offers air-conditioned villas as well as powered sites.

The Sunshine Coast north of Brisbane in Queensland is one of Australia’s most popular holiday strips. It is made up of a series of towns, all of which have different vibes. Pricy Noosa offers top drawer shopping on Hastings Street and walks in the Noosa National Park. Mooloolaba is family friendly. Marcoola and Mudjimba Beach are close to the Sunshine Coast Airport. And Kings Beach, Dicky Beach and Moffat Beach give highly developed Caloundra plenty of energy.

Coolum Beach tends to be a little more chilled out and grown up. It’s a popular golf destination and there’s plenty of green space in the hinterland.

Coolum caravan park accommodation

Coolum Beach is also a relatively cheap place to stay if you book yourself into the Coolum Beach Holiday Park. As Australian caravan parks go, this one has landed itself in a pretty magical position. The Coolum Beach Holiday Park is in the parkland behind Coolum Beach, sandwiched in by the Coolum Beach Hotel and Coolum Surf Club. You’ve got the beach and two good places to eat and drink within a few footsteps.

Coolum Beach Holiday Park powered sites

This Coolum caravan park covers ten acres. Powered sites for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans cost from $50 a night. But the Coolum Beach Holiday Park doesn’t just aim at campers and caravanners – there are some one and two bedroom villas as well.

Villas is frankly an optimistic description. They’re basically cabins, albeit ones with air conditioning and kitchens. All have a deck outside with table and chairs, and the one bedroom cabins cost from $169 a night. Bookings can be made online via the Coolum caravan park website.

Other caravan parks on the Sunshine Coast include the Dicky Beach caravan park on Dicky Beach. There’s also the Cotton Tree caravan park in Maroochydore and the Rainbow Beach Holiday Village in Rainbow Beach.
