The RAC Karri Valley Resort is 333km south of Perth, travelling mainly along State Route 2. This route goes around the edge of Mandurah before taking in Preston Beach, Australind, Bunbury, Busselton and Yoongarillup. Much of the drive from Perth to the Karri Valley Resort passes through national parks. You’ll go through the Whicher National Park, Blackwood River National Park and Hilliger National Park on the way. The drive from Perth to Karri Valley takes around three-and-a-half hours.

How far is Pemberton from Karri Valley Resort?

The nearest town to the Karri Valley Resort is Pemberton, an 18 minute drive to the east. The resort is in the settlement of Beedelup, but there’s not an awful lot there beyond holiday accommodation.

Beedelup Falls & things to do in Karri Valley

There are plenty of things to do at the Karri Valley Resort itself. These include archery, mini golf, disc golf and an animal farm. You can also hire out canoes, stand-up paddleboards, bikes and fishing equipment.

The best things to do in Karri Valley outside the resort include walking along a section of the Bibbulmun Track. This long distance walking trail stretches from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills to Albany on the south coast. But the Karri Valley section takes in a mighty fine waterfall – Beedelup Falls.

Other options include canoeing on Lake Beedelup or braving the climbing trees around Pemberton.
