Peppermint Grove Beach and Forrest Beach are essentially two different sections of the same stretch of sand. The beach stretches 14km from Wonnerup Inlet to the mouth of the Capel River. Surf tends to bigger at the Peppermint Grove Beach end near the river mouth, but there’s not a massive amount in it.
The water is usually placid enough to swim in, but be aware that the beach is not usually patrolled by surf lifesavers.
