Childers to Brisbane road trip: Sunshine Coast

On the way south towards the Sunshine Coast, you can divert south towards the Mothar Mountain Rock Pools in Woondum National Park or the Harries Cascades near Amamoor.

The quickest route from Childers to Brisbane runs west of the top spots on the Sunshine Coast. Beach towns such as Caloundra, Mooloolaba and Noosa are where most of the region’s appeal lies.

If just picking one, go for Noosa.

Get the best out of Noosa – 6 sensational experiences to look into

Top things to do in Noosa include hitting the surf at Little Cove, browsing the boutiques on Hastings Street and finding koalas in Noosa National Park.

Alternatively, try marine life-viewing from a speedboat going on a cruise through the Noosa Everglades, a whale-watching tour, or a surfing lesson.
