Wangaratta to Bright road trip attractions: Myrtleford

It’s one of several wineries around Myrtleford, the largest town on the Wangaratta to Bright drive. Myrtleford is in the foothills of the Australian Alps, and the best views of the surrounding area come from the Reform Hill Lookout in the Myrtleford Plantation.

Further along the Great Alpine Road, you’ll find Pumpkin Seeds Australia. You can admire the massive pumpkins growing in the fields at what claims to be Australia’s only pumpkin seed producer.

Things to do in Porepunkah

There are more wineries around Porepunkah, the turn-off for the Mount Buffalo National Park and home of the Porenpunkah Pines Holiday Park. From Porepunkah, it’s a seven minute drive into Bright.
