Blenheim Beach, Jervis Bay: Snorkelling and white sand in Vincentia, NSW

In Vincentia, NSW, Blenheim Beach offers white sand, much smaller crowds than Hyams Beach and some of the best snorkelling in Jervis Bay.

Blenheim Beach, New South Wales, is one of the lesser-known beaches on Jervis Bay, but it might well be the most beautiful

Murrays Beach is famous for its caves, Hyams Beach is famous for its white sand and Callala Beach impresses with its sheer length. But Blenheim Beach has that sense of wild discovery that’s difficult to match.

Blenheim Beach on White Sands Walk

Technically part of the town of Vincentia, Blenheim Beach is surrounded by green bushland. It’s along White Sands Walk, which connects several Jervis Bay beaches. These include Chinamans Beach and Greenfield Beach, just to the south.

Blenheim Beach is a small cove, only about 100 metres long. But the sand is white, the bushland setting is beautiful and there is some fantastic snorkelling to be done just offshore.

There’s a lot of marine life at this Vincentia beach, and it offers some of the best snorkelling in Jervis Bay.

Surfing at Blenheim Beach, Vincentia

Don’t expect great surfing at Blenheim Beach, Jervis Bay. Swell is usually mediocre, and the jutting headlands either side offer a decent degree of protection. That said, if conditions are right and the swell gets up, there are some surfable waves here.
