Steavenson Falls, Victoria: Marysville waterfall walk

There’s no drive-up access to Steavenson Falls, Marysville. But the walk from the car park is only 700 metres return. You can plump for a much more rewarding walk by adding in the Keppell Lookout, however.

Steavenson Falls near Marysville, Victoria, is roughly on the border of the Yarra Valley and High Country. It’s one of the highest waterfalls in the state, with the Steavenson River plunging 84 metres through light forest.

That drop is spread over five separate cascades, however, with each having a slightly different look and water flow. Combined, it just looks like the river is bouncing off the rocks all the way down.
