Further south in the Western Sydney Parklands is the Calmsley Hill City Farm. This genteel attraction allows children to get close to farm animals and learn about how farming works. It’s not exactly going to hold a candle to Australia’s best wildlife parks and zoos, but the whip-cracking demos and working dog shows are pretty entertaining.
Things to do in Abbotsbury, NSW: Treetops Adventure
At the southern end of Abbotsbury is Treetops Adventure. This treetop adventure course is all ropes, wobbly bridges and mid-air obstacles strung between trees. It is run by the same company that offers Treetops courses in Ourimbah on the Central Coast, Korora near Coffs Harbour and the Cumberland State Forest in West Pennant Hills.
Treetops is next to the Plough and Harrow section of the Western Sydney Parklands. Choose between the picnic shelters or the walking trails here.
