Gold Coast to Bundaberg road trip: Distance, drive time & stops
Gold Coast to Bundaberg drive: Sunshine Coast
Most of the rest of the journey is along the Bruce Highway.
After leaving Brisbane’s northern suburbs, the Brisbane to Bundaberg drive passes Burpengary and Caboolture. The Wild Horse Mountain scenic lookout is worth pulling over for near the latter. It’s also only a slight detour off the Bruce Highway for Australia Zoo, the Glasshouse Mountains, Mount Ngungun and Mount Tibrogargan.
The drive to Bundaberg then runs through the Sunshine Coast region. We’ll assume there are no plans to divert for a stay on the coast here, but if so, check out the guides to Caloundra, Mooloolaba and Noosa.
Road trip attractions close to the highway include the Aussie World theme park near Caloundra, Buderim Falls in Buderim and the Thrill Hill Waterslide in Woombye.
