Huskisson Beach, Jervis Bay: Is it worth staying here?

Huskisson Beach, Jervis Bay: Is it worth staying here?

There are several accommodation options at Huskisson Beach, Jervis Bay. It’s probably the best place to stay if you want the convenience of being close to Huskisson town centre, but with a great beach too.

Huskisson Beach is not the most beautiful beach in Jervis Bay, New South Wales. It would probably admit that itself if it could. It still has the trademark white sands of the region, just like the more famous Hyams Beach, Callala Beach and Blenheim Beach. But it doesn’t have the same sense of pristine wildness and seclusion.

This is nit-picking, however. Anywhere else, this would be the best beach in town.

What Huskisson Beach does offer, however, is convenience. It is the nearest sizable beach to the tourism hub of Jervis Bay, Huskisson.

This agreeable little town is where dolphin-watching cruises depart from. It’s also home to the Huskisson pub and the Husky Ferry.

Huskisson Beach is south-east of the town centre, just north of Moona Moona Creek. It stretches for about 750 metres between Talappa Point and the rocks at the creek mouth.

Swimming at Huskisson Beach
